A goat could give someone living with HIV an income from selling milk.
Widowed and HIV-positive, Alice was left homeless and ill.
Without an income, she could not even afford to travel to the clinic to collect essential medicine.
Christian Aid partner the Anglican Church of Kenya Development Service (ADS), in Nyanza, set up a support group for people living with HIV. The group was given goats so that members could earn money from selling the milk.
ADS also built Alice a new home and she now has the support she needs to stay healthy.
